MARCH - Week 2

Mid-afternoon

I have not written because there has been nothing to write and I am not the kind of correspondent who fills space with nothing.

It is however, very cold. Just the persistent, low, grey kind that sits on the house and doesn't move.

The bird bath has been frozen solid since at least Wednesday.

I have stopped checking it. The patio chair is also not viable. We are on the kitchen tap situation.

I have been watching the pigeon. Not from necessity. Just watching. It was there this morning at around half eight and again just now.

I am not going to say anything further about it. It is simply a thing I have been doing. Like a hobby but not a hobby.
